Celebrity Tattoos - Penelope Cruz

I'm going to start doing a post or two a week about celebrity tattoos. For some unknown reason the world seems to be overly obsessed with celebrities and people want to know everything about them and their tattoos are no different. Many people are curious to know what some of their favorite celebrities have tattoos of and what some of them might mean.

Well I thought I would start with Penelope Cruz. I know she is a kind of random celebrity but I read this interview with her talking about her tattoo. Or should I say the lack of talking about her tattoo. Penelope seems to be very guarded about her tattoo and will not reveal the meaning or significance behind it. Which in all honesty she has every right to feel that way. But it is a little odd because most people like to share the story behind their tats. But if she wants to keep hers private than all power to her.

Celebrity Tattoos

When it comes to celebrity tattoos, there are two approaches that people consider. The first is to emulate a design that is similar to their favorite movie star, athlete, or musician.

The second approach is to actually pay homage to a celebrity by inking their likeness onto their body. For this reason, people are constantly keeping a lookout for the latest trends in celebrity tattoos.

As you scan your favorite magazine, television show, or film, the lives of celebrities unfold to the point that you are able to pinpoint each and every time they mark their body with a new tattoo. While you may or may not desire the same exact tattoo, their choices may encourage your creative juices and help you explore what you want out of a design.

Outside of athletes and musicians, one of the more popular tattooed celebrities is Angelina Jolie, who has influenced many to explore the world of tribal tattoos, with the dragon, tiger, and foreign writing found on her shoulders and arms.

While movie stars are rather influential in the trends of tattooing, the choices of musicians are followed as well. An assortment of R&B artists, hip-hop, and rock stars are often scrutinized for the various creations they display. For example, the "Thug Life" tattoo that Tupac showcased on his stomach has inspired numerous tattoo designs over the years.

Former pop princess knows a thing or two about tattoos, seeing how she currently has a half dozen or so tattoo designs.

Debra Wilson Tattoos

Debra Wilson is a talented American comedienne and actress, best known as a long time cast member on the sketch comedy show, MADtv.

Debra is virtually completely covered in tattoo designs and is perhaps the most tattooed celebrity in the business.

She has two complete sleeves on both her arms containing dozens of tribal designs, along with a large sun on her left shoulder and a beautiful lotus flower on her right tricep, plus a ring of flames and stars on her right wrist and forearm area.

The tattoos on her back include, a heart with crown and a tribal sun design.

Some of her other tattoos include, a lotus flower on her lower abdomen and extensive tribal hooks on her lower back and hips.

Evan Rachel Wood Tattoos

Evan Rachel Wood is a lovely young up and coming celebrity actress and singer, probably best known for her role in the movies, Little Secrets and Thirteen.

Evan Rachel Wood has four tattoo designs to speak of, including the phrase "All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream" which is just below her neck in the center of her back.

She has a heart of vines with a lightning bolt in the center, located on her left thigh, along with a diamond on her lower left leg.

And finally she has the number "15" tattooed behind her left ear.

X-PAC Tattoo

Sean Michael Waltman, better known as 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac, is a professional wrestler who has been a part of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

X-PAC only has one tattoo design which we are aware of, and its a cross on his right shoulder.

Big Show has four visible tattoos which we have spotted, including a Bengal tiger on his right shoulder and a lion his left shoulder.

Michelle Williams Tattoos

Michelle Williams is a lovely American actress who is best known for her role in the television series Dawson's Creek.

Michelle has two visible tattoos, one being a design on her lower back which is difficult to see clearly, and she also has three birds/bats on her right ankle.
